Art & Cultural Activities to Promote Artistic Expression and Creative Thinking of Students
Under the umbrella of cultural activities, ODM promotes creative thinking and artistic expression.
The students get the opportunity to showcase their visual and performing arts skills through a variety of programs like competitions, festivals, workshops, and shows. As a result, not only does our art program nurture a passion for a specific art, but it also inculcates an aesthetic sensibility and creativity in them.
The following are some major highlights under the segment of Art and Culture:-
Painting and Craft- After having a regular period in their curriculum, students are provided with various options like Thermocol Craft, Mask making, Origami, Paper Masks, Glass Painting, Card Making, Roof and Wall Decorations, Cloth Art, Collage Pot Painting, Rangoli, Best out of Waste, Spray Techniques.
Workshops and Creative Sessions for a variety of these modes of paintings are organized with industry experts, and these experts take special sessions to inspire and bring out that sense of creativity among the children.
Dance Club- ODM Proudly boasts of the Dance Club where children are taught classical dance forms like Odissi, Kathak and Western dance forms like Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Break Dance and etc.
Vocals Club- Students with potential are enrolled on the Vocals Club, where they are given classical music training and are prepared for various competitions and stage shows.
Instrumentals Clubs- Instrumental Training in Guitar, Keyboard, Drums, Sitar, Flute, Tabla and other musical instruments is provided to the children.
International Cultural Exchange Program- ODM has a partnership with multiple schools in other South-East Asian Countries where the students go on Cultural Exchange Programs and learn about the culture of other countries.
Programs in School- School organizes multiple cultural and music fests such as SPECTRA, Annual Sports, National Day Celebrations and other Musical Stage Shows in partnership with a variety of other organizations.
